Chiefs rally late in third to tie Shawnee

Shawnee began the third leading by two, but Cherokee would get the tying goal with under two minutes left in the game

Cherokee trailed 2-0 late into the third period but rallied to force a 2-2 tie with Shawnee in a SJHSHL game played in Voorhees. Dillon Cooney would get the tying goal scoring on the power play with under two minutes left in the game. After a scoreless first period Shawnee would strike first with David Hoftiezer making it 1-0 late in the second period. Dylan DiGrazio would make it 2-0 with just three seconds left in the period and Shawnee began the third leading by two. 

Cherokee would have numerous opportunities as they had three power play chances in a span of five minutes but could not break through. Right after the third chance, Darren Ambrose would score to bring the Chiefs to within 2-1. Then given another power play Cooney would connect with Jack Ellis getting the assist.
